The endurance and load-carrying limitations of economically viable UAV air-platform hardware are the single biggest factors holding back the advancement of many commercial UAV operations today.
Theyron UAV have produced a completely new flight operating system that can solve this problem. Based on a simple and compact method of flight control, our airframe can provide a much greater range and payload-carrying performance while retaining a cost and operating simplicity approaching that of the multi-rotor UAV.
This gives our system the potential to directly enter and commercially disrupt a wide number of existing UAV operations. Our underlying intellectual property is based on a completely new and unique flight operating system. This puts us in a very good position to retain control of the technology going forward.
Our secure intellectual property presents opportunities to early adopters of our system.
Our core areas of expertise are in the design, production and IP control of our air-platform hardware. To achieve commercial applications, we are seeking collaboration with existing UAV stakeholders and developers who could benefit from applying the economic and performance advantages of our platform to their existing UAV operations.
Early adopters of our system can gain enduring advantages based on our intellectual property. We plan to negotiate strategic franchise agreements with early adopters. Effectively allowing them the ability to leverage our IP to gain and control ongoing technology-based, performance advantages in their fields of operation. This could be in the form of an ongoing region-specific / use-case-specific franchise agreement for the exclusive use of, or development based on our air-platform hardware.
Our Background
We have previously developed a new and exciting, performance-advancing technology and have progressed this to a previous commercial success.
This project has given us considerable know-how with practical machine-patenting and IP strategy, along with a more streamlined and objective approach to needs-based innovation. We also gained valuable experience in achieving a collaborative uptake for an emerging innovation.
Most stakeholders utilising advanced technology, will still not see the need for supporting a new and emerging system, even if this is directly related to their area of operation. It is only once the new system is in operation and giving competitors a clear advantage that most operators will think of moving to the new technology. This situation presents opportunities for genuinely proactive and innovative businesses seeking to gain a technological edge in the UAV space.
